Beautiful, Silly, Talent Layout
I want to share a layout I just finished of my daughter. I love the fact that she gets such a kick out of life. Just when you think things are getting "heavy" she throws in a goofy face. As we say at our house, "It gives my heart happy."
I used Basic Grey's Curio collection. One of the papers in this collection is a collage of flowers, handwritten notes, lace and such. I always have a hard time using this type of paper. I never want to cover the gorgeous images. So this time, I cut out the images I wanted to use and scattered them across the page.
I found a package of KandCompany journaling stickers that matched the collection perfectly. I layered these to give a little dimension.
I created this title on my new Silhouette Cameo using fonts from my computer. (Have I mentioned I love that machine?)
I added a file tab, clip, stickers and a brad from the collection.
I'm goint to enter this layout at Two Peas In a Bucket's weekly challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Dana Desmond

Silhouette Cameo Love
Another quick not to say WOOHOO!!! I just received my Silhouette Cameo and I'm in love.
This machine kits serious butt. I was able to start cutting right out of the box. I created several cut files from my own artwork and the cut and print feature leaves me speechless. There is no limit to my imagination now. I don't know how I ever lived without it. It has taken my scrapbooking to a new universe.
I can't wait to post some of the results, but I just can't quite creating to take pictures. I promise they are coming and you will be amazed at the difference.

Simon Says Stamp Customer Service Praise...
This is just a quick note to give praise where it is deserved.
First, SimonSaysStamp.com has got to have the most AWESOME customer service ever. I had a question about my account and the Monthly Card Kit club. My subscription wasn't appearing on my account, so every month I would get a little uneasy as to whether I was still on the list to receive a kit. I wasn't sure how to ease my worries but Heather answered my question and suggested I cancel my current subscription after I received the April kit and resubscribe before the May kit. So I cancelled my kit subscription and waited. The May kit was soon to be released and Heather sent me an e-mail to see if I was still interested in the May kit. She didn't want me to miss out.
I have to say her e-mail was a surprise. It made me feel, not only as a valued customer, but as part of a larger crafting family, where everyone watches out for everyone else. I love SimonSaysStamp.com and everyone involved with the company. They provide informative and fun tutorial videos from a variety of artists. They strive to stretch the imagination with each product they use. I love seeing all of the wonderful projects each week. This is a relatively new store, but I can see it growing with leaps and bounds. Thanks to Simon Says Stamp for all you do.
Sincerely,
Dana Desmond
