Just wanted to leave a quick update just to let you know that I'm not sure how much crafting I'm going to get done this weekend. I've been having so much fun the last few weeks, I've neglected some of the weekly cleaning. So, with everyone coming to my house for Thanksgiving, it's now or never to get the house in shape. So, my weekend will be filled with sweeping, mopping and scurbbing. Plus the basement...UGH! That place is a mess. So, I will post what I can.
Thanks for visiting!

Old School Challenge - My Craft Time
Emma over at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ has a "Throwback Thursday "Cricut~less" Challenge!" going on right now. I don't always get the time to enter these challenges, but I've been thinking about projects that don't involve the Cricut or Gypsy, so here was the perfect opportunity to put my ideas to paper. Here's my submission.
First I stamped the image, then colored it with Copic Markers. When the markers were dry, I added Glossy Accents to the ornaments and added an adhesive gem. I love the "real" look the Glossy Accents give this card.

Today's Creativity
Today has been so awesome. First I went to my craft space and just got in the groove. I felt the creativity just flowing. I made the following card for a sweet friend that I miss very much. Even though I can talk to anytime, it isn't the same as seeing her everyday.
So, thanks for visiting and please leave a comment letting me know what's on your mind.

Materials
Paper: DCWV, The Paper Studio
Embossing/Die Cutting: Cuttlebug
Embellishments are from my stash
The next set of cards I made were for Thanksgiving. I started making them with only the Create-A-Critter cart, but I got bored, and even though I said I wouldn't puchase anything but full carts, I just had to buy Seasonal Thanksgiving. I'm so glad I did. The images on this cart are simple, but elegant. I haven't really gotten a chance to play with it too much, but I have quite a few more Fall cards to make, so I know I will be using it a lot.
Materials for the Fall cards
Papers: DCWV, Cloud 9, Stampin' Up, The Paper Studio
Ink: Stampin' Up
Stamp: Stampabilities
Cricut Cart: Create-A-Critter, Thanksgiving
Embellishments: Stickles and Gems from my stash
Since deer season begins here very shortly, I will have even more time for crafting while everyone else is in the cold woods. I guess I could be nice and make sure they have warm pot of chili to come home to.
So, thanks for visiting and please leave a comment letting me know what's on your mind.

Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop, By Erin Madsen
I have to say that DCWV is by far my favorite paper and accessories line. So I was so excited when I opened my e-mail this morning and found a message that Erin Madsen over at DCWV Diary is participating in a "Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop."
This week she is giving away two paper stacks to Street Lace Stack and and a Colorful Life Stack to one lucky winner. Go check it out at: http://dcwvinc.blogspot.com/2010/11/sizzix-triple-play-blog-hop-week-1.html
Good Luck.
