Peachy Keen Stamps Sketch Challenge

This week's sketch can be found at http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/.

With the big snow we had yesterday, I've been dreaming of planting my garden this spring. That was the inspiration for this card.

The image stamp is from TPC Studios and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up. The papers are from DCWV Autumn stack and Pumpkin Pie cardstock from Stampin' Up. The ribbon is from Walmart. I used my Nestabilites to cut the oval and scallop oval.

I colored two images of the carrot with my Copic markers. I cut them out and layered them together with a pop dot.

I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink and embossed it using clear embossing powder. Then punched it out with my 1" punch.

I haven't posted much lately. Mostly because I've been trying to do more scrapbooking. I'm not really a scrapbooker, simply because I need more practice. I had such a hard time with the notion I had to scrapbook in chronological order (and I have 20 years worth of photos to scrapbook) that I just had a block on what to do.

Finally, I decided to just pick out pictures I like and wanted to preserve. Then the ideas just seemed to flow. I will post some of my pages later. Maybe I can get some good advice from all you scrapbookers out there. Until then...

Thanks for stopping by,
Dana Desmond
