Pixel Scrapper October 2014 Blog Train - Autumn Art

I love this time of year. All the bright vibrant colors of nature and the cooler relaxing temperatures. Makes me want to curl up on a porch swing wearing a big sweater, with a blanket on my lap and a cup of steaming coffee in my hand.

I'm usually at work before dawn and I just love watching the sunrise outside my office window during this time of year, If I could, I would choose to have Autumn all year around. It is just a peaceful time.

This October's Blog Train at Pixel Scrapper captures that beauty with Autumn Art as the theme. I don't always participate in the Blog Trains, but this one just called to me. I love the palette. I could not wait to get started.

Below is my submission for the Blog Train. I love the touch of blue and purple. They just add that pop of brightness.

  2. Thank you for your part of the train. :) As for the contest - this is weirdly specific but I would love some kits that include animals and autumn colors. My kids go to at least 3 annual events like Boo at the Zoo where they are having some kind of fall- or Halloween-themed event at an animal park, and I need something that combines both ideas! ~laugh~

  4. Thank you so much for your part of the blog train! As far as what themes I look for... mostly BOY stuff. I have 3 teenage boys plus a teenage nephew that I scrap for, and only 1 niece! (Plus I still have lots of pics of them from when they were younger that I need to catch up on scrapping with.) Their interests are varied, from marching band to chorus to football to cars. Thanks again!

  5. Great blogtrain mini! thank you very much for your generosity. As far as the contest - I love the colors of nature: blues, greens, browns. Calming and soothing colors. Almost all of my scrapping is with outdoor pics from traveling, so travel/vacation/camping/road trip themes are great.

  6. I love pixel scrapper blog train. So many participate it just huge!! I want more (even a blog trains worth) of home renovation 'stuff' yes hammers and nails but fridge, drywall, window, a toilet the whole 9 yards. We're converting our son's garage into our retirement home so we can enjoy our grandchildren and haven't found one kit that has all of what I 'see' in my head as what I want.

    2. Copics are artist grade alcohol ink markers. They allow very easy blending. You can get so may beautiful results from comic book style to near picture realism. There are some basic rules to make them easy to use, but beautiful results occur by breaking those rules too.
